FAQ
Questions people actually ask
If the answer you need is not here, the contact form goes to a person.
Is Discipline 24 free?
Yes. Creating an account, tracking unlimited disciplines, joining challenges, streaks, reminders and sync are all free. The app is supported by unobtrusive ads rather than a subscription.
Do I need an account to use it?
Yes — a free account, with Google or an email address. It takes a few seconds, and it is what keeps your data in sync between your phone and this website, so nothing is lost if you change phone. After signing in once, the app works offline too.
Can I manage my disciplines from a browser?
Yes. Sign in on discipline24.com and you get the same disciplines you see in the app — you can add, edit, reorder, archive and delete them, and tick off today's completions. Changes sync back to your phone immediately.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your streak resets and the day is shown as missed in the month view. There is no paid streak repair, because a streak that can be bought back does not measure anything. The tracker's job is to be accurate, not flattering.
How do weekly disciplines differ from daily ones?
A daily discipline expects you every day of the week. A weekly one only counts on the weekdays you pick, so a Monday/Wednesday/Friday habit is not marked missed on the days it was never due.
Which languages are supported?
English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic. Arabic is laid out fully right-to-left, and dates and weekday names follow the selected language.
How do I delete my data or my account?
Go to the account deletion page, enter your email, and confirm through the link you receive. You can choose to wipe your tracked data while keeping the account, or remove the account entirely. Nothing needs to go through support.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. The Android app keeps a copy of your disciplines, completions and challenges on your phone, so it opens instantly and works with no signal: tick things off, add, edit or reorder disciplines, and check in to challenges. Your changes are saved on the phone and sync to your account automatically when you are back online. Only a few things need a connection: signing in for the first time, changing your profile photo, and resetting or deleting your account.
Is my personal data sold to anyone?
No. Your disciplines and completion history are yours. We do not sell personal data. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is stored and why.
How many disciplines should I track at once?
Start with two or three. Tracking a dozen from day one is the most common reason people abandon a tracker in week two — every additional discipline multiplies the number of ways a day can feel like a failure.
